Anyone know what name this aircraft is sporting
Re: NEW ARRIVAL FOR LOSSIE
'Fulmar' as in Al's post above, Lossie was RNAS Fulmar before the RAF took it over.

Re: NEW ARRIVAL FOR LOSSIE
I'm not sure as I don't have access to the contract, but I'm fairly certain that at least another 1, 2, 3 or 4 could be delivered this year.

Re: NEW ARRIVAL FOR LOSSIE
I seem to remember the airman's mess was also called the Fulmar Mess, or the Fulmar Building, when I was based there in the 70/80's. Had a look on gaggle earth a while back, and that building joined with North and South blocks, is now gone, along with a lot of other stuff from back in the day.

It was called the ‘Fulmar Club’, yes none of the mess facilities that were built during the Navy days still exist. I think the last one to go was the old North block which housed the Education centre and various club rooms.

Re: NEW ARRIVAL FOR LOSSIE
Will be interesting to see what names will be given to the last 3 when they arrive?
