From reading this forum's posts, it seems Lon Mil has lost its consistency in the last couple of weeks - it used to be 252.875 then 270.05 then off to do their business. Now there seems to be all kinds of Lon Mil frequencies being used for what we must assume is usually the same route (not my place to confirm where they fly to). Being passed to a frequency that isn't manned seems a little sloppy.

Well London Mil hasn't existed for some years now, so...

One frequency doesn't mean one controller, there's a number of technical matters that exist to allow one controller to work multiple sectors (and thus multiple frequencies) and any one of them may have been the issue.

Comms issues with these go back years. Some are down to pilot error, some to controller error and others equipment/weather related.

You’re right, I’m mean Swanwick Mil. Useful to know it’s got more issues than we might expect.

The callsign was reported to be 'Trump' earlier, I suppose that 'Trump' and 'Chump' are the same thing really!
