Re: Holbeach AWR log April 2020
Is RAF Holbeach Range a shadow of it's former self these days, I remember the days when aircraft tried for a bootleg slot when the range was busy.
FWIW I have had some good times at ranges in the USA, but that also was a few years ago.

Re: Holbeach AWR log April 2020
Not so long ago when a trip to the range would be a delight :-
Harriers from Wittering and sometimes Cottesmore
Jaguars from Coningsby
Tornadoes from Marham
F15Es from Lakenheath
All the above, booked or bootleg, made for an exciting day.
Now though we are left with occasional Typhoon from 41(TES) sqdn or Warton, and the Lakenheath F15s

Re: Holbeach AWR log April 2020
There is likely going to be a little more traffic than I report. I used to record comms while I was at work, or since moving to nights while I'm snoring in the morning. Sadly not found a way of recording the comms since moving to Mac. I've just bought a Raspberry Pi 4B. Hopefully means I can come up with a solution to recording

10.57 Razor 21 [XI(F)] Sqn with range secondary, sounds like they are transiting the airspace to EAMTA rather trying the range
