14.23 Lossie 57, low approach, back to radar pattern for a 2nd approach.
14.27 Lossie 43, low approach, join visual circuit for 4 circuits.
14.33 Lossie 57, low approach, depart to west.
14.38 Lossie 43 depart to west.

Spartan and Valkyrie, II(AC) Sqn Typhoons, straight in to land in trails:

18.44 Spartan 11 land.
18.45 Spartan 12 land.
18.45 Spartan 13 land.

Busy day yesterday.Maybe busier at Leuchars in coming months as Lossie has no ILS available until early April due to the ongoing construction.

The 2 Typhoons were actually overshoots by Coningsby jets:

17.56 Typhoon 315
18.21 Typhoon 70

The 6 Lossiemouth Typhoons did not depart yesterday.

12.19 Spartan 13 (ZK306/306, 1(F) Sqn Markings), performance departure.
12.31 Spartan 11(ZJ946/946), Spartan 14(ZK323/323), pairs performance departures.

The other 2 Typhoons not leaving until 14.00 at the earliest.

15.00 Valkyrie 22 depart. WOW!!!! If Carlsberg did performance departures.... Possibly the greatest Typhoon departure I've ever witnessed at Leuchars, thank you Valkyrie 22!

He was low along runway on full power, before pulling up into the heavens, levelling at 10000 ft in an instant, fantastic departure, in a lovely clear sky!
