Rafale Rumours

Post by POL » Sun Jan 05, 2020 8:49 am

Hearing rumours of Rafales (Rafaels? Ruffles? Rafaellos?) at Coningsby towards the end of the month.

Any substance..?

Rumours came from someone with a friend or relative on 3sqn. 3 sqn deploying somewhere and the FAF Rafales supposedly operating from 3's HAS site for a short period.

Whilst stuck in Bristol, do you have a scanner, as you seem to miss some interesting St Athan and Pembrey movements?

Handy if you own NVGs 😊

I meant nothing fast jet wise apart from the odd Hawk or F15E

It is indeed the very same. As usual, putting 2 and 2 together and coming up with 50. Usual FAF deployments to the UK are only a few days.

Many Gems on the Coningsby Spotters Group

Examples
What time does the Airport open
What will I see in 2 hours
What is a Rafale
I'm coming down on 15th April (Example of date) What will I see

But It does sometimes have info worth having

Like anything public it has Good and Bad

Back on topic
Now they are saying more than three
