A look back on a packed 2019

Post by James Cutting » Fri Jan 03, 2020 9:48 pm

2019 was probably the best aviation year for me. With trips lined up to Belgium, Duxford for the Dakotas, and Marham for the Tornado Finale events, it was shaping up to be a good year. The best 3 days were in June though - Tuesday for Dakotas, Wednesday saw the immense 6 Osprey's and 6 Hercules D-Day formation at Mildenhall, finalising Thursday at LN getting the heritage jets depart for France, then to MH for the 3 x US Army Chinooks, back to LN to get the Heritage jets return before ragging it back to MH in time for the 2 x VH-3's from the Presidential flight! Manic day! :Wow: Thanks to all who have been involved in making this a brilliant year! Here's some of my favourites from 2019.

A great selection well done. Your image of N8200L is a great catch, especially as it appears to have been burnt out during an attack at Camp Simba in Kenya overnight, photo here
