Mixed warbirds from mixed venues

Post by paddyboy » Tue Dec 10, 2019 9:35 am

Hi Peeps :P

Been delving through some more dusty boxes again :O

These are obviously mostly (but not all) from a 'Fighter Meet' or two

Very nice Patrick. I well remember Spencer Flack being criticised for his colour schemes, but will always remember his classic reply, which was 'when you have your own Spitfire, you can paint it whatever colour you like!!!' A classic retort to his detractors!!!. Sadly, he was later to lose his life in a vintage B.R.M when racing down under. Regards.

Good evening Paddy

Well another great post Sir... loving these... anything showing the classic shape of the Spit gets my vote... but WOW... number 5 of the low level Bucheon is just superb... :thumb:

Thanks for sharing these... have a great Christmas.

Tim
