U5552/19 - FIREFIGHTING AND RESCUE CAPABILITY REDUCED DUE TO SET 1 DUE TO
TRUCK MAINTAINANCE. AFFECTED AIRCRAFT WILL BE C-5, KC-10, VC25A,
E4, KC-135, C-17, B-52, B-2, KC-46, RC-135, C-130, E-3, E-8, C-32,
C-37, C-40, C-20. 06 DEC 11:30 2019 UNTIL 14 DEC 23:59 2019. CREATED: 06 DEC
11:00 2019

This suggests no visitors next week (other than possibly 'tiddlers') . Presume training on recently delivered new equipment as well as maintenance .

U-2 activity would appear to O.K. though

3 Crash Tenders attended the U-2 emergency on the 3rd Dec - don't know if that's minimum cover for U-2 ops though.

Perhaps the B-1 is left off of the list because it's very unlikely one will come this way during the period of the NOTAM, given that so few are actually currently airworthy

Agree Ian - although U2 is not explicitly listed (not sure why not) in the USAF RFFS Tech Implementation Guide referred to above its pretty clear it falls within the 'Set 1' category requirement that Fairford is providing next week. :thumb:

I was joking, as it had been left off of the list above, FYI
