There is currently a Galaxy at fairford RCH280 which arrived from the states yesterday empty. Could be a candidate for picking the choppers back up.

2 C-5M's, 83-1285 Arr Sat 30 Nov and 84-0061 Arr Tue 3 Dec, are currently present. Both are assigned to Dovers 436/512AW's. These transport vehicles not the choppers.

Both VH-60s, plus three CH-47s and two Police EC-145s, now heading towards Central London.
Can someone help with the id of the CH-47 that didn’t fly this morning please?

Yes - covered in 2 or 3 threads in Mess/Heads Up sections. If you are interested just stick AF1 or similar in the search box.

I think it was the one that night stopped at Stansted which from memory was 13-08137. But it was one of two using the same hexcode AE599F.

The C-17 just into Northolt originated at Mildenhall. Just to clarify, neither MLD nor MDH are correct codes for that airfield, being Malad and Southern Illinois Airport respectively.

Only civil spotters use baggage codes  four letter ICAO codes only for military airfields plus the name. :P

Just read the forum rules twice and unless I am missing it cannot see anywhere that airfield codes are not to be used.
