Another thing that made me laugh, was how determined the Iranians were to send 3 boats to seize a British Tanker, only for the Navy to step in and say "No". Least they tried!

Roadworks info.

A14-A1-A11. Always good for a smile is the south cambs council w/site. The English used in the last sentence and its content. It should have contributed to a long line of very slow moving trucks.

from 7 am, until Sunday 13 October at 7 pm.

A1198 Ermine Street
Vehicles wishing to travel south will be diverted east on the A14 to Histon junction 32, where they can join the A14 westbound and the A428 to re-join the A1198 at Caxton Gibbet.
Vehicles wishing to travel north will be follow this diversion in reverse. :S

My friend thinks he is smart. He told me an onion is the only food that makes you cry, so I threw a coconut at his face.

Maybe they have children and take their leave to be with their families - so not "snowflakes" but just regular parents.

I'm afraid it's the sign of the times we must have time off for the kids at the slightest whim. Yes by all means for summer holidays but not any other time it's a bit pathetic, and what if the kids are in their late teens I don't think they need all that. Never happened in my time!! PS The DJ's didn't do that in the 70's!!!

This is a democracy and people can take time off when they want and for whatever reasons. I took time off during school holidays to spend valuable time with my wife and daughter sometimes going away on holiday. Pathetic? No it is/was not, but maybe some if your parenting opinions are :grr:
