Another thing that made me laugh, was how determined the Iranians were to send 3 boats to seize a British Tanker, only for the Navy to step in and say "No". Least they tried!

I'm afraid it's the sign of the times we must have time off for the kids at the slightest whim. Yes by all means for summer holidays but not any other time it's a bit pathetic, and what if the kids are in their late teens I don't think they need all that. Never happened in my time!! PS The DJ's didn't do that in the 70's!!!

This is a democracy and people can take time off when they want and for whatever reasons. I took time off during school holidays to spend valuable time with my wife and daughter sometimes going away on holiday. Pathetic? No it is/was not, but maybe some if your parenting opinions are
