Think we need to start thinking about closing roads off and charging people a fiver to enter Mildenhall in anticpation of the expected departure bunfight!
Better still hire, a Ferris wheel and dump it on Chiswick Avenue for those 'unrivalled views' of its departure........
Yeah..£5 to enter Mildenhall and £15 to leave..
Dave.

So the B-52 has had its chute packed into the tail today, test flight can't be too far away now.

No idea, I doubt they'll want to fly it back across the Atlantic without testing all the changes first.

MYTEE 91 is active on the ground according to the Suffolk Military Aviation Society. Presumably the B-52 preparing for a test flight?

Oh dear. You mean, if it was going to be parked for some time they should've chocked it in gear and let the hand-brake off?!

Wonder if the initial flight will be to Fairford for final inspection before going home ?
Gets it out of Mildenhalls way and they have plenty of space there, as well as B52 equipment and at the moment additional B52 ground crew .

No problem - thanks! Is your info available publicly or is this from a contact in the know? Only asking as if it is public I can check myself!

Fingers crossed for an evening dep. tomorrow so we can go after work!

I think it’s a midday departure. With the KC 10 taking it back.
