Re: B52
With credit to TeeJay/Seacat at MH today, 2 engines are definitely off the buff, look like the old ones (Presume 7/8 which have already been noted)
Re: B52
Pretty much the same as the post by James above.
The two engines have been placed near by, and what was believed to be a new B-52 engine was taken around the perimeter road on Thursday. Didn't notice any work being done from our viewpoint in Johns Field - but there was an Osprey blocking our view for most of the week.

"Apparently" the B-52 was "running" this morning according to a post shared from a Mildenhall Enthusiasts page...can't find any confirmation of it anywhere else, or here.

Re: B52
Hope so...I'd be gutted just getting a plain B52 through Cad
Aircraft 9 was the "call sign" for tonights engine test.

Think we need to start thinking about closing roads off and charging people a fiver to enter Mildenhall in anticpation of the expected departure bunfight!
Better still hire, a Ferris wheel and dump it on Chiswick Avenue for those 'unrivalled views' of its departure........
