Wasn't the callsign "Death"?

"Mytee" is a B52 callsign?

Nice shot.

Indeed they were, and then departed as Mytee.

No, they arrived as DEATH and departed today as MYTEE

MYTEE is a callsign that covers the entire bomber fleet.

Thursday 29.08.2019
Here in mid-Norfolk about 30mins ago I watched a pair of B-2s at ca 10,000' flying two (possibly three) very lazy figure-of-eights in an east-west pattern, encircling East Dereham & Swaffham.

I was a bit slow with the first pass which was directly overhead heading East towards Norwich (assumed it was just the usual LN F-15s until I opened my eyes)
Couldn't believe it when they came back a second time (nearly missed them completely, again)
And then watched them slowly turning back probably 4-5 miles short of Marham (i.e. overhead Swaffham), before passing south of me and turning further south towards Mildenhall/Lakenheath.

Apologies if this report is somewhat vague, but my spotting days were 40 years ago, and AFAIK these are the first B-2s I've ever seen. (I don't get out much.... :( )

I searched for an existing thread but couldn't find any reports relating to today (Thursday) so I have parked my contribution here. Feel free to set me straight.

EDIT - just found today's thread - going to try & re-post this where it belongs [slaps head]
