As promised some H model BUFFs to start. I apologise for the quality of the EB-57 photo, we made several visits that week in the hope of catching them on the move but with no luck so this was the best i could do with a borrowed teleconverter too

Lovely shots - especially the Varks and Ravens at the end. I spent a lot of time by the fence at UH with my Dad 1989-1993 so some fond memories evoked with your shots above.
Have you got any of the 42nd ECS Ravens when the whole Squadron was wearing noseart - I think it was mid-late 1987?
Thanks for posting

That EB- 57 is an epic catch regardless. Also liking the Cannon Varks.

Re: USAF in Europe, another selection #3
Thought those EB-57E visits were great - some were on deployment to the UK while others staged through for exercises held in West Germany. Saw them at Upper Heyford, Alconbury, Bentwaters and Woodbridge.

Re: USAF in Europe, another selection #3
Another super set, those Vark deployments to Boscombe were great back then, and the EB57E’s well words elude me! What wonderful days we had.
Re: USAF in Europe, another selection #3
Paul glad you chipped in. I was never a great one for taking detail shots and although I have some shots from that year I always seemed to be on the wrong side! Plus around then i was doing lots of trips so competition for my limited film stocks was fierce, digital came 20 years too late
