Probably because they don't need to! One flew earlier.
Or did their validation at Yeovilton cover them for RIAT too?
They did not validate nor need to validate for yeovilton as that was not a display. They were only doing the full display at riat only.

plmc135 said it right

Some of our gang went down today and still had a great time, despite the weather ;)

Let's just hope, hernaman86, that the weather improves for all others going for the next two days :)

I paid my money, I turned up, I got wet...

But I saw a Harrier! The wet landing was AWESOME!

Worth it for that alone, not seen a Harrier in the air since 1987 (Wittering).

Going back on Monday to watch everything go - thinking that I'll go back to Thursday and Monday next year. (Maybe Sat or Sun for statics)

Yeah, I’m still here for another day but not going in tomorrow, all I wanted was to see the mig 21 take off, it was there at the end of the runway and it turned around, could have cried

For those of us who have suffered significant cancellations today, and the Friday last year, perhaps there should be a compensatory discount next year!

Curious as to who you think is responsible for the cancellations and therefore liable to compensate you?

Hearing people have been in the que for getting in and searched for over an hour and are still nowhere near the front. Have they ramped up searches this year?
