DUXFORD FLYING LEGENDS.

Post by UKADGE » Sun Jul 14, 2019 10:34 pm

Only my 2nd visit to Flying Legends. Despite the mostly grey Saturday a full display was flown, with the exception of the DH-9. Due to a technical issue it had to scrub just before start up. An occurrence I have not come across before at an Air show... a large group of Irish who brought large amounts of alcohol on the the airfield and proceeded to get very drunk, loud and swearing a lot, in front of children and anybody nearby. they set up camp next to the VC-10. Not showing the slightest bit of interest in the Airshow or aircraft at all !!
