That's all very well but surely they can do it for RIAT as well? ;)

The French know how to do a real flypast, RIAT/RAF can learn a lot from them...

Not sure what they could learn.
You would need a government that thinks public money grows on trees to provide that sort of flypast every year.
I would say that will be coming, but as the latest opinion poll puts Jezza on 18%...

You pay for it every day. Its what you do with it.
You can have them bumble around the skies one week on training missions. Or one week skip them and do a formation flight and call that training in formation flying.

Not sure if there is something thing wrong with Invalides station but when I look on Google the train route from Notre dame station to Invalides says get out at Musee D'Orsay and walk 10 minutes along the South bank of the Seine.

Google also recommends RER B and RER C to D'Orsay when coming from CDG

Last year the train went from Notre dame straight to Invalides

The problem appears to be with the RER C line from Notre dame - it seems to terminate at Musee D'Orsay

It is only a short walk along the river bank ( 5 to 10 minutes) to the usual spotting area near the Air France Building at Invalides.

RER B to is operating normally from Notre dame to CDG etc
