Hi guys, any clues on when the guys are back from Cyrprus was led to believe it may be next week but not confirmed ?

Whilst next week is 6 weeks from departure we mustn't get too excited - 5 weeks have passed since 21 May, and only now have they flown non strike mission.

Would seem a contradiction if they return next week, and then of course we have the rest and recuperation farce, we'll have to wait and see Grimly.

Yes i was thinking that but they are participating at yeovilton so im just presuming which is a dangerous game in this business lol

Today they arrive back RRR9521 14.30 and RRR 9525 at 14.45

I am torn between going up for the RAF or hanging around at Lakenheath on the off chance the some 493rd eagles might return this afternoon with some nose art.

I did see a Picture of a 493rd jet with some markings on the nose in one of the Mags,

I noticed they turned left off runway 24 so I assume they are using the newly built installations on the south side?

When they departed six weeks ago they came from the hitherto usual parking on the northern side.
