Brilliant set of pics

Hi Dave, from the 'memorable' visit that Darren and our group had into the Fire Dept. a couple of years back I have some pics of their fire attack strategy with aircraft silhouettes on a white board.Very effective and professional. Great guys ... and after seeing their gym, tough lads too !Dave934 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 9:16 pmOne thing I can say is the fire crews were all over it in seconds....I'm extremely impressed with their professionalism. Hats off to them.Knife 04 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 8:44 pmAs Keith has said lets all be pleased that the crew are down safe, all is good and a big salute - think there are too many 'what ifs' / 'why nots' over on the other section insinuating the USAF did not know what they were doing. Handled well for an unexpected issue and all are safe
Dave.

Thanks again everyone for the comments.
Here are some more photos from the day, I've decided to blank out a couple of the faces because I doubt they would want them on the net, I hope members don't mind.
I've always wanted a photo with the chute, so really happy to get this.

Great set, thanks for sharing...
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Nice additions
I got to see the FD in action at Mildenhall last year, when a U.S. Navy C-130 came in with an engine shutdown. Not so dramatic as this IFE, but the skill of the Firefighters was clear to see.

Good set Dave and nicely posted with fact and sincerity without any sensationalism.
Re: B52 IFE Mildenhall (MORE PHOTOS ADDED)
Eight crew on board. I know the BUFF is roomy but what is the seating arrangement for this number of people ? Assume it was a second crew due to the proposed long range mission with a change over mid flight.

Great add ons Dave, I didn’t pick the best week to be out of town. That chute shot is great. MH post of the year contender in my humble opinion.

Re: B52 IFE Mildenhall (MORE PHOTOS ADDED)
There are 6 ejection seats plus a fold down seat just behind the pilots, so 7 altogether, plus two bunks. There might be another fold down seat down below where the two NAV positions are but I'm not certain?

Nice one Dave...Those images tell the story well and glad everyone stayed safe.
