What is viewing like at Shawbury?
Viewing is good - but the jets have all been hangared (because of the adverse weather) - it’s thundering like crazy at the moment at at Shawbury.

Arthur
Ok thanks. Considering heading over Sunday for an hour or so as passing the area.

The 4 Danish T17's are going to make a fuelstop on EHGG/Groningen. Dep time is planned for departure 11.30 and 11.40z. Think they need another stop. So should arrive late afternoon.

Arrived at Norwich

I didn't hear myself but they said they are refuelling then repositioning to a parking spot - so maybe night stopping?

Looking at the wind direction on Sunday which should be approx SWS, it would indicate aircraft will take off South over Rapra Lane. Runway 18.

Showers at 3pm onwards just in time for Reds display.

Weather tomorrow is awful until 6pm, and ATC contact has advised rehearsals will likely get pushed back to early evening because of the weather.

Typhoons are still TBC but expected after 10am Saturday.

The ground at the crash gate on runway 36 is awfully muddy and wet, and will be like this tomorrow. I expect that wont stop some people walking right across the crops though!

Please everyone stick to the edge of the field and fence lines, do not walk on the crops.

Wellies defo needed trust me the grass will be very wet all day today and tomorrow.
