Req: 28-05-2019
Currently there are 2 Shadows and 2 Sentinels parked outside at Waddington. Does anyone know which ones they are, or which ones are meant to be at home?
Re: Req: 28-05-2019
One of the Shadows was ZZ418 which just departed as Falcon01. The other is parked with the two Sentinels.
Re: Req: 28-05-2019
The shadow will be Vulcan 01, will show on tracking sites as wadd01.
The recently active Shadows have been ZZ418 and 419, the recently active Sentinels are as Baz said above. So they will probably be your birds.

Its currently in test flight stage from memory with an updated cockpit (all the RAF and USAF RCs) are getting. As for it not flying for a while?
Guess we will have to wait for its return.

Re: Req: 28-05-2019
The first RAF Rivet Joint was delivered to Mildenhall and operated from there for a few weeks before moving to Waddington, maybe this will happen again after the upgrade is complete.
What's the "draw your own conclusions.???" bit mean?
Re: Req: 28-05-2019
yes and then when it arrived at Waddington sat in ALFA Compound for weeks before it flew no dought you know that??

ZZ664 was delivered direct to Waddington from The USA in November 2013. 665 was the one delivered to Mildenhall.
Re: Req: 28-05-2019
it certainly was Vulcanone and if my memory servers me correct was driven by a female jockey?

Re: Req: 28-05-2019
Can I just ask you to clarify ‘recently active’? Do you mean today?
I only ask as ZZ419 returned from Hawarden this morning as Serpent 49, having departed there on the 21st as Snake 49.
Also G-DAYP spent a good part of the day parked next to the Sentinels. It is in a similar colour scheme to Shadow aircraft.
At 0900 this morning, the three Sentinels on the line were as quoted by Dinger.
Cheers,
FF

I mean the ones that I have seen airborne and on tracking sites in the last week.
I'd forgotten about DAYP as not seen any reports of that one for a long time.
Thanks
