Inner Farne Island

Post by LTFT5 » Wed May 22, 2019 8:21 pm

I took a boat trip with a couple of friends, using Billy Shiels at Seahouses, to the Inner Farne Island.
It was a great opportunity to photograph Terns, Rabbits and Puffins and here is a small selection of the shots I took on the day.
Look away now if you do not like Puffins

Beautiful shots Andy. I love puffins and the Farnes are a great place to get close to them . They really are comical little things and with their wings out they look like they are conducting an orchestra. Also did Isle of May previously but Farnes much better IMHO. We used Serenity Boats but both firms have good reputation.

Really want to go back again - not forgetting a good hat of course to protect against the terns!

Great shots Andy. Love wildlife shots as an alternative to aircraft. A lot of detail in your shots aswell. Love em.
