Well, 11F have dropped out, so that's a few less Rafales that will be there. :(

Would love to see some single seat 2000s, but I reckon that's a long shot.

I paid for my ticket by the advertised bank transfer over a month ago , and to date have not heard anything back from the NTM team with any kind of communication
Just wondering how many more are in the same boat
I would like some from of communication , just so that I can book the flights and car otherwise if left until the last minute flights are going to be hard to arrange.
Finally received my confirmation on Wednesday 8th May after 3 previous email with no response from Mont de Marsan
Spent most of today chasing around sorting out flights , hotels, cars etc but it's now sorted I will be there
Phew..

Yes someone at Lakenheath mentioned the weather is looking poor but I have little faith in Weather forecasting

01.00 -07.00 Rain Showers
07.00-14.00 RAIN
14.00 -23.00 Light rain

The forecast has been the same for days now, so a high probability that the forecast is accurate.

Then again if you look on another Web site you get a totally different forecast
ie:-01.00 -04.00 Light rain
04.00-07.00 Rain
07.00-12.00 light rain
12.00-18.00 overcast
19.00-20.00 foggy
20.00 24.00 overcast.
Now where my brolly.

There's a low pressure system heading that way, it just depends where it is on the Friday - I'll be amazed if we don't get rain on Friday, as all the sites I look at are saying rain, it's just the quantity that differs.

Really thought that, this far South, at this time of year, it was going to be how sunburnt I was going to get. Not how wet!

Really pee'd off.

The forecast is now 11 to 13 degrees with rain and 2 thunderstorms.

Will they still fly in that weather? (the thunderstorms, not the cold!!)

Does anyone know which runway is in use today? We're heading that way now.

A really nice, well organised tigermeet. Yes, there were lots of aircraft did not attend and the weather wasn't that great on the day, but a splendid time non the less. I'm glad the sun was behind the cloud and rain today as the sheer heat would have killed all runway shots for everybody.

Obviously no flight line access this year compared to the mirage flyout, but trying to control 2000 spotters is a lot different to 200!

Into the base in less than 10 minutes was just easy, leaving was even quicker!

A Real shame that there was no goody bag this year, so no patches, zaps nor any sign of a t-shirt to be had. That really was disappointing compared to past events.

I hope you all had fun and it was great to see so many UK spotters in the crowds as well as some pretty famous world class togs as well!

Thanks to all, I hope you all had fun. Here's to 2020!

Beja 2020?

I also thoroughly enjoyed the event despite the weather.

Really well organized and I thought getting in and parking was good.

The spotters enclosure was well located between the runway and taxiway and also gave a good view on to the Tiger ramp

Well done to the NTM team, Mont de Marsan and the AdlA

All I have to do now is laboriously go through my photos to make a log.

Edit: what about the Rafale display - aggressive or what?
