Another based Juno operating with 202 Sqn?

Post by TombsRIP » Tue Mar 26, 2019 3:55 pm

ZM518 noted with Mallard callsign on Mode-S this week, operating from Valley (as M200). Has this replaced ZM532? Noted last week the refurbished ex STCAAME (MPC) hangar is clearly marked with a large "Airbus" inscription! Presume been there for a while now...

I have noticed up to three Junos EC35 operating out of Valley for the last 2 weeks with 202 SQ using Mallard callsigns, anybody know why the Juipters EC45s aren't flying?

Update:
ZM532 noted operating with 202 Sqn on 3/6 as "Mallard 203" (Military Aircraft Markings Update No.169 June 2019 has this back with DHFS Shawbury).
ZM510 "Mallard 200" (not noted on adsb before operating with 202 Sqn) was up late afternoon same day.
ZM518 was of course noted on Families Day last week.
Cheers

The word now seems to be that 202 Squadron is going to be joint Juno/ Jupiter (Junopiter) squadron from now on. As for rumours of more Jupiters/ a new type (as mentioned on some FB pages) are currently unfounded it seems.
If it wasn't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...

Diolch Y Ddraig Goch...

Jupiter HT1 ZM502 appears to be back operating with 202 Sqn after its sojourn at Shawbury; up early pm on 4/7 as "Mallard 203". ZM500 was noted flying late June at Valley as "Mallard 202".
Juno HT1 ZM513 noted operating with 202 Sqn June/July. ZM510 & ZM532 still current at Valley.
Has ZM518 now returned to Shawbury (last noted early June with 202)?
cheers
