Another Atlas Air 747 is due Friday morning the 8th.
Departing Barksdale AFB Thursday 7th 16:10 CST and arriving at Fairford 05:54.

so that makes already two freighters and a passenger 747, quite some equipment and staff moving in

RCH section reporting 4 C-17A s currently on route most if not all currently on the ground at Bangor Me

given that the notam indicates AD closes at 1300 today it would suggest it wont be today

Passed a massive flatbed truck US registered on the A417 earlier . Empty heading south towards the M4.

Coudnt quote make out the plate but could have been whiteman

Do they not hold inert as well? Having said that, on a lot of the recent deployments have noted more active stuff.

Just to clarify you saw a US registered flatbed lorry and US police? When ammunition was moved from Welford to Fairford in the Balkan crisis it was British registered articulated container lorries with British police escorts. Would have thought it strange to have US police on British roads in this circumstance.
