Not that I am in "the know" at all, but a deployment in March has not been mentioned anywhere or have I missed something. If true any dates and rough rumours on what is coming?

thanks,

Been spoken about for a while away from FC , no idea as to whether it's buffs or bones but it seems likely given the sources the info has come from, the base commander mentioned recently in an interview for one of our local magazine that "2019 would be a busy year for deployments"

Bearing in mind the few locations worldwide (as far as I know) that are setup to handle B2 ops, I am surprised, and a little sad, it's sent here so rarely to train.

Slightly off topic, but anyone know if the BALTOPS dates are out, I think it might be the same as last year?

I'd hazard a guess and say this'll relate to the upcoming deployment.

The Embassy flight went across the UK this morning. It normally stops in Fairford on its way into Europe and not on its way back home.

I thought there was a recent NOTAM saying there was WIP and fuel restrictions until April?

There was but it's been taken down now. So it either expired or it's no longer the situation

There have been 6 times when the Embassy flight for Fairford has gone to Ramstein first. On 5 of those occasions its called in on its way back home so if 00215 does show up It'll be on its 3rd visit to the base.

cheers,
Graham

If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

Yes, the base is already under exercise and this exercise is leading to a larger deployment in March.

Hi what forum please?
