The FINale-Lossiemouth

Post by Black Mike » Sun Feb 24, 2019 9:18 pm

A huge gathering of people to say goodbye to the Mighty Fin at Lossiemouth. The high level cloud burnt off in time for the flypast, at a stunning 17degC, I was sweltering.
A sad day but boosted by the flyby of the 9 Sqn old and new. Nice to see some marked jets at Lossie for a change.

A huge crop as they were flying by on the other side of the field with the camera ship.

The one flypast that received the most complaints is the one that produces the best images.

Nice shooting dude

Great set of images Mike, we certainly had one of the best spots. We were spoilt with the weather.
Cheers.

They're the best fly past images I've seen and great to see all three of the special's serviceable.

Depends what end of the runway you were on, looks like Mike was at the 23 end and it paid off for him, I was at the 05 end and got b***** all.
