Fingers crossed its part of the formation, although unsure we'll be able to see it, would expect them to be a bit on the high side.
If you copy/paste the links into your browser, they open! Personally I was fairly underwhelmed, as there is little to see when it's on the ground, much less airborne? Compared to the Tornado & recent F-15 combat veterans schemes, this is more 'meh!'
BUT....it is the thought & sentiment that counts & this gesture along with the Flypast for the B-17 crew & Tony is well received & deserved!

Any art work is better than nothing these days , just wish they had decided on painting one up with the WF-V code as worn by the B17

I could be wrong... but may be they will be controlled by Doncaster Sheffeild Airport or at least have contact with them...it must be within their zone... as I said I could be wrong.

Was watching Look North and weather said potentially fog in the morning, but should be clear by time flypast happens.

Really good coverage of it media wise, although I did cringe when the reporter called them “B-15 Strike Eagles” 😭😭😭

Hey 'clio 197', it looks like you've gone-off to early with the excitement & got a case of "shutter-button-twitch" causing a double posting! ;)

As bad as Look East a few years ago running for several days with news that Mildenhall is home to 'KC-235s' :S

Fog has cleared at both Lakenheath and Mildenhall.

Slight concern at Coningsby, but the plan is to go ahead.

Just seen a kc135, and 2 typhoons over Newark. Also a Hercules but not sure if that's involved in the flypast.

Edit: osprey now gone over Newark and kc135 and typhoons coming back towards Newark appear to be joining up together 👍

Thanks for the reply, the herc joined with the osprey a little while ago and I have been watching everything apart from the Dakota (not seen the Dakota at all) circling in the distance near my work in Newark, nice to see over here as it's not that busy round this way anymore. More to the point what a great tribute to all that were lost and to a great man for looking after the memorial all these years.
