Can't see that fitting in a Herc.

Would folding rotor blades and each half of tailplane folded forward make it loadable into a C-130? difficult to judge.

Overall height looks like it would be an issue even for a C17

I'm assuming that as this is a test/concept aircraft, any operational and production type would be designed and built with the measurements and systems to allow it to meet the requirement.

I’m attending International Military Helicopter Conference here in London this week, and the SB-1, Bell V-280 - JVL was discussed on the first day .both from the Director of Future Vertical Lift Cross Functional Team, US Army.

The SB-1 is designated as S-100 and assigned N number albeit in the experimentation category

Exactly. What helicopters now fit inside a C-130?

Well the Blackhawk was designed to do exactly that, fit inside a c-130 as it was a requirement, whether that is still the case for its eventual replacement I don't know

I didn't know that. I'm surprised a Blackhwak can fit inside a Hercules.

I read somewhere that the AH-1 , UH-1 and UH-60 will all fit in a C-130 with the rotor head assembly removed , but an SH-60 Seahawk apparently does not fit .
