Hello chaps, from Tyneside.
Just found this site recently and joined up, cheers. I’m returning to this as a hobby as I am rapidly approaching retirement ! Most of my time is spotting in the north/ north east and north west. Main locations Spadeadam, Otterburn and Leeming.
Look forward reading and seeing whats out and about.

Hi, I am an older guy who has some spare time and no hobbies to keep me legal-- so i decided to become an aviation version of a train spotter. i have acquired an uniden ubc125 xlt (pre-programed) with a r881 high gain aerial. i live in norfolk not to far from lakenheath and will be eating a few burgers at the viewing area. i had thought i was only going to be watching a few f15,s landing and leaving but after looking at the interest and pics etc on this forum, i realise that there are alot more planes about.. i will definitely consider getting a decent camera for this hobby. you all seem a fairly levelheaded bunch so i will enjoy this endeavour, cheers to all.

Lapsed spotter here, formerly to be seen around Leuchars and Lossie when F4's and Buccaneers were to be found there. Generally look on here to see what interesting stuff I've managed to miss around Scotland whilst stuck in the office!

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say hello since I'm a newbie on this site. I'm from the USA living right outside of Chicago. I work in the travel industry and that allows me the ability to fly all over and enjoy my passion of photography. I really enjoy flying over to Europe for air shows, spotters days and just experiencing different bases.
Thanks again for allowing me into your site. I look forward to using it a lot from this point on.
Sincerely,
Trevor

Morning All
Many thanks for allowing me to join Fighter Control, having worked in the Aviation Industry for some
40 odd years, time to visit a few more Bases before they all disappear.
Regards
Steve

Hi all
Hope all is good - I’m Elle and am from Lincoln. I attempt to balance a full time job with seeing the jets flying. Got Scampton which is always running, haven’t seen too much at Waddington, but love Coningsby. Although I hear liking typhoons the most isn’t what most say, I grew up with them flying over where I grew up in rural Lincolnshire

Hi everyone. I use a Nikon D3200 and in 2018 I used a Fujiflim from the 1990s. This produces dust spits so don’t be surprised if you see the odd dust spot on some photos. I’m still learning so if you can help please do.

Did you ask one of the Admin team to change your username instead of creating a new account? See Rule 18 regarding multiple log-ins :- viewtopic.php?f=6&t=24285SWVRmartin wrote: ↑Tue Mar 12, 2019 9:06 amHi all, I was EGTEmartin but changed to SWVRmartin.
