Wow. That special scheme jet looks superb, especially in that first banking shot. Mildly envious to say the least!

That first shot is very tasty
Re: Lakenheath 23-10-2018 California ANG F.15s
Wow! Taken from the forest entrance? Not often you get to see a special-schemed F-15, especially in good light and banking!
Now for the perennial... when are they leaving!?

I couldn’t agree with any more. I don’t understand why there so over the top. These schemes should be for special events and only temporary. I feel sorry for the guy flying it when going up against a MIG etc. in a real situation.Thunderbolt II wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 8:04 pmThat's quite a scheme- dare I say a bit too much?! It is for a special event - the unit's 75th Anniversary this month.f106dart wrote: ↑Tue Oct 23, 2018 8:24 pmI couldn’t agree with any more. I don’t understand why there so over the top. No idea but since the unit was activated on 28th October 1943 I'd give them a while to enjoy it.
