Nice insight into the essential role of the ground crew in getting the reds airborne for the QB flypast

They repositioned to Biggin Hill to avoid poor weather at Scampton and roaded extra maintenance to fix a dodgy filter

Was that the programme where they were saying the Hawk can't land if it's raining or something (to create tension for the viewers) and so had to land quick at Biggin before it started raining?

Bit like that but I am watching Britains ultimate pilots on ITV

QB flypast followed by a display at Biggin 2 hours later. Next day, Sunday , is a positioning to Shawbury for Cosford airshow.

Very enjoyable.

It has reinvigorated my interest in the reds, which may have waned due to too many years of spotting. Can't wait to see them in action in 2019?
