Not heard about this, what exactly is going on for this AirPower Expo does anyone know? Was thinking about heading up on 18th anyway so if theres likely to be something interesting going on that will seal the deal!

Appears there are two photo shoots

1. Friday as mentioned here viewtopic.php?f=55&t=168334
2. Saturday evening organised by COAP, don't have much info on this other than a friend has one of the the places. Cost around £45, likely sold out

Its the annual Air Combat Power Visit, with one of most RAF types that sits on the ramp for a week. Its mostly attended by the Royal College of Defence Studies folks and the like.

You get 100 Sqn Hawks flying around and the Typhoon display.

Oh and the last appearance by a Tornado I expect

Not a RAF P-8, the RAF doesn't get their first until Oct / Nov 2019, should be at Lossie early 2020 (Jan-March). Or that's what the crew were saying a RIAT. There was a USN P-8 at the ACPV last year

There won’t be a F35 there.

If that last post is correct, and I don’t doubt it is at all ,it suns up the RAF perfectly.

To be fair the entire fleet is grounded across all partner nations.. Not really the RAF's fault.

Suspended or paused rather than grounded. There is still time for flying to resume and one to appear by the 18th, unless Rob666 you know otherwise rather than an assumption based on the suspension.

Looks like nothing apart from a GR4 has turned up for this so far?

Suspended? Paused? Which ever way you put it, they're grounded.
