Why bother you being on this forum if you think like that.
Thanks to the poster he’s got off his backside and gone down to see them land on a Friday evening.
For people like myself who live hundreds of miles away it’s great seeing what went on down there.
Re: F-35B (Batch 2) Arrive at Marham
Thanks for posting. Great pics considering the light conditions.

Good effort. Love the 4th shot in between the trees with the pink sky. Didn't even get to see them here in Cornwall , they were right overhead but above the cloud

Well done, 1,3,& 4 have got my vote. These shots sum up the enthusiast and the hobby well. They have got a lot of atmosphere, especially the 3rd down with the other spotters
in trying to get shots. Lots of toggers want to go out their way and show us how clever they are in getting extra sharp shots, but most of their stuff lacks soul. These shots are what the
hobby are all about and I find them fascinating to see them lit up, cheers...

Totally agree, they're great shots. Years from now, they'll be a great reminder for you of the event.jaybee wrote: ↑Sat Aug 04, 2018 6:46 amWell done, 1,3,& 4 have got my vote. Re: F-35B (Batch 2) Arrive at Marham
Quite agree, great effort with these photo’s captures the conditions well. 4 of us went to see these and knowing what time expected arrival would be I never bothered with my camera, so well done to those who have decent shots to show for their efforts. The images need nothing more done to them , 3 and 4 have my vote and shows exactly how it was last evening .
Re: F-35B (Batch 2) Arrive at Marham
Why bother? Because like other like minded spotters he wanted to be there and record there arrival and get some pics. Well done you and really show the conditions and will stir memories in the future, great pics.
And if we all took the altitude why bother, which may be directed to the plane itself, if I had not bothered I would of missed out on “The last Lightning Show” which me and my Dad still talk about and 50th D-Day Anniversary at Yeovilton great events and nice to have those memories. Just wished had a DSLR!

Re: F-35B (Batch 2) Arrive at Marham
Frist Point Thank you for posting the pictures in the different conditions. I was not there my self as Me and my daughter was at my Mum and dads who live to the west and on both time we have had them circle around us.
Second Point Why Bother is a altitude I cant not stand. I Don't always get the chance to go the bases because of work so IT A BIG THANK YOU TO THE ONE THAT DO. Also there is a lot of people in this area and beyond that gave up a lot of their time to save RAF Marham . So if you don't like the jet of the base it hard luck its here GET OVER IT
I know It mean a hell of a lot to the Members of our Wonderful armed forces to see all us lot stand there with the cameras. I know this from picking the odd aircrew up from time to time .
