Additions and changes - Saturday

Post by POL » Sun Jul 15, 2018 2:01 pm

Hi all,

I needed a couple of the Spanish 101s so made extra effort to positively identify them all after one was reported to be tech - hence there were two #5 on the Saturday!

All identified from squadron codes and/or serials:

E.25-13 CASA 101EB 79-13/5 Assumed, didn't fly
E.25-27 CASA 101EB 79-27/7
E.25-31 CASA 101EB 79-31/1
E.25-38 CASA 101EB 79-38/2
E.25-52 CASA 101EB 79-34/3
E.25-63 CASA 101EB 74-17/5
E.25-78 CASA 101EB 79-02/4
E.25-87 CASA 101EB 79-29/- Special marks

Hopefully this helps in case anyone was trying to work out individual airframes!

Chris

GIBSON1: PA474/AR-L
GIBSON2: ZM145
GIBSON3: ZA607/EB-X

Edit: Typo in the Tornado serial corrected, thanks miketonka!

Hi everyone

One I noted on Saturday that I could not see on the check list was Airbus H135 Juno ZM504 ( 04 ) looked like RED 10 was using this as his ferry flight.

Hope it helps someone

First time for me at RIAT on Saturday - what an experience..!

Just a quick question. On the far side of the airfield and at down at the end to the right of the flightline, there were an awful lot of aircraft parked up. Is this where all displaying aircraft are kept during the show including the spares?
