Just bought Bowie's 'Blackstar' as the latest addition to my record collection, really great and weird album!

Ended up watching Public Service Broadcasting last night at Larmer Tree Festival who put on a good show, not one of my favorite bands but great fun nonetheless.

Well, I certainly fell on my feet with this one...
After taking my wife down to London and going to the O2 to see Pearl Jam earlier this month, I got presented with tickets to see Paloma Faith next month. Cracking.
Again, I've not seen her live, but I've heard she's as brilliant as she is ...strange...
Looking forward to this event too.
Must be someone out there who has seen her and survived?

Just thought I'd revisit the thread and offer a quick update
She certainly was quirky, but she was also fantastic.
What a great afternoon and evening event.
Highly recommended artist.
Bought the latest CD today - (even at my age)...

I still wonder how that poor guitar didn't go up in flames during that......and that he had anything of his plectrum left at the end!!!

Personally, I think that modern "interpretations" of it totally fail to make any impression.....except "yuck".

Just come across this cover of a classic by a collaboration of young musicians - the singer is only 11 years old :Wow:

The guitarist is 15 and the drummer is 18.

I haven't listened to Linkin Park for a very long time. After the death of Chester Bennington, the songs were especially saddened. Probably, I haven't listened to a single song for 2 years, but today I wanted to. At the same time, I discovered a new sound of this music for myself thanks to the Samsung Harman Kardon 7.1.4 audio system. I am very pleased with this device and, in principle, I can recommend it for purchase. If interested, the article contains a description of the parameters of the sound system.
