I used to fly there all the time from Guernsey when I lived there - a great grass roots airfield with history

Although I haven't been to Popham for years I do remember they were quite spotter friendly - I remember the fly-ins they hosted back in the day.
Why is the airfield under threat - are the owners selling up?
