Heathrow have to put warnings out to pilots and they even get callers ringing up LBC radio about the 'invasion'....

.........they often get reported as red flares around here and we sometimes end up being launched to investigate....

About 12 more tonight, in a double vee formation, but all descending and appeared to be out. Very fast and spooky as hell without the glow.

Really did look like a triangular type UFO in the half light........... :ninja: :ninja: :ninja:

You'll probably find it was some wags idea of a joke , ie , tether a load together,then light and launch them at the same time, they don't have much of a lifting capability so therefore once one has run out of fuel it will take the rest down with it!!
(That thought has just put me in mind for a little devilment come the New Years Festivities !! SSSSSHHH, don't tell any one ............................ :whistle: :whistle: )

wow :Wow: another 10 or 12 just gone OTT. This time one was still flickering so didn't look quite as spooky.

Hate being relegated to outside to enjoy a Cigar................ :lol:

:Wow: :Wow: :Wow: That may have been us from West Drayton, the wind was in the correct diretion but out of the 10, 6 caught fire at about 50ft and crashed back down in the street, only 3 manged to cautch the wind and work and the othe one we losst sight of.

We had about 20 of the things float over our house last night, its a good job the hall wasnt working otherwise it could have been intersting seeing one of those sucked into a KC engine :O
