Telestep ladders

Post by lee.elliott1 » Thu Aug 03, 2023 10:05 am

I’m looking to get a more compact ladder to what I currently use. Has anyone got telestep 2.3 or 3.0. Are they any good and worth the money?

Definitely worth the money but are heavy and awkward to carry for long distances.

I have a 3.0m and it's noticeable heavier than the 2.3m.

Thanks. Is the 3M heigh enough to see over the fences at bases or over the chain fencing?

I have no idea who makes them but at the last Leuchars Air Show I saw a guy using what looked like an ordinary 5 step ladder to get static pics over other peoples heads. As he was moving away I found it was a clever piece of kit he had.It was actualy 4 legs which could be retracted (like those on a tripod)and then folded under the flat top plate. He walked away with a package about the size of an average lap top.Like I say dont know where he got it or who makes them but looks like it could be on the lines you want.Perhaps if you knew a local journalist they might be able to help as I have seen them using steps.Probably no use but worth a mention.
