Bahrain and Saudi Arabia to respect Ramadan.

3 races now. 24 is far too many. They claim they have "regionalised" the calendar, yet go to Italy twice at separate times of the year.

Unsure as to the point in deliberately holding events when it's known Ramadan is on, and then altering the layout to suit. No excuse for not having Christmas races now then??

Also yet again Belgian and Dutch races are either side of the summer break, when they are cycling distance apart..

And apparently Canadian organisers threw a paddy about being twinned with Miami, thus its a standalone trans-atlantic race in the European season. Not the best demonstration of carbon neutrality efforts is it.

Undecided as to the scheduled 24 races yet. More so when the dull ones are packed together. It will be interesting to see if they actually manage to achieve it this year mind!

It's Saturday in Las Vegas when the race is held, but Sunday for us here. Boxing fans will be used to it

I can understand the Canadians not wanting to change their date. Early May in Montreal is NOT necessarily a good place to be weather-wise. From experience it can still be very cold.

Assuming of course thats the reasoning behind it ;)

As long as Canada is a stand alone race in the European season, F1 can't be taken seriously as being 'carbon neutral'. And that's before Miami and Las Vegas are taken into account..

It's funny that people perceive F. as ruining the planet, when nobody ever mentions the worst polluter in sport, Football. Think about it. I think the plan is for totally sustainable fuels to be in placefrom 2026

🇺🇦 🌻 🇺🇦. The worst polluters are people, too many for the world to sustain. Volcanoes are quite high on the list, rather like self inflicted wound!
Airshows pump out a fair bit too.
