Our local Aldi has for some years had hundreds of solar panels installed on their south facing roof.
At 250 watts per panel, they must have generated a lot of power.
Today I noted that they have been removed.
At least, from my experience of Aldi, I am confident of receiving a sensible answer to my obvious question - I'll keep you posted.

Re: Aldi Solar Panels
As expected, Aldi advise that the solar panel assembly (250 panels, generating over 60kW) were removed because of the number of pigeon that had decided to live within them.
Re: Aldi Solar Panels
B AND Q in Arbroath had a bird problem as well .A member of the public complained about 1 dead gull caught in the anti gull netting and they had to spend a fortune preventing it happening again. In a fishing port with possibly tens of thousands of gulls about, you could see dead ones lying about in loads of places.Yet action taken over one
Expanding that we are on the coast and were plagued with sea gulls, our fishery 6 miles inland was always covered in gulls by the thousandmat times .Today was up their and saw 6 a walk along the Arbroath cliffs a few weeks ago was very quiet as no gulls and we have not had them attacking smaller birds in our garden for month.Looks like the bird flu has really hit them in this area
