Snooker UK Championships

Post by Gary » Fri Nov 18, 2022 9:45 pm

Anyone else watching. I’m sat at in a hotel in York, ready to go to the semi finals and final. What a strange championship it has been. O’Sullivan spanked this afternoon. Can’t remember him losing by such a margin. Only 2 of the top 10 making it through to the quarter finals

Would never have picked the semi finalists this year. Then again at least it’s not the same old usual faces. Should make a great couple of days

Hi I've watched some of the snooker, not an avid fan but I did see Trump get trumped.
He thought he was on a winner but it only takes one bad shot to end up loosing the game.
I have to turn to sound off, they do my head in. :-)

What a comeback, thought it was going to be early finish and started to make alternative plans which consisted of a Ghost walk  didn’t give Allen much hope how wrong I was. Whatever he ate or drank during the break I want some.Feel sorry for Ding Junhui didn’t really get a look in, Allen was on fire

Next up for me is The Masters in January

Masters tickets are or were available when the draw was announced yesterday. I got mine when they went on pre sale. Semi final and final  only real days I could do with my shift pattern. Didn’t want to use holiday so soon into the new year.

Jack Lisowski played well the first half of the semi final. Closer he got to the winning line the worse he played.
