Well, that's set the table up nicely for the next set of games.
Seat and beer booked in Whitton for the visit of Ireland on 12th, - hope its as locally emotional and fired-up as last weekend!

Tough for Wales to take; they probably should have beaten England and it looked like they would overcome France but just couldn't break down a well disciplined French defence.

It's the way it goes sometimes - obvious really because that is how it went! :)

Just pressed submit when Scotland scored another try against Italy to go 10-26 up. Is it about time another team replaced Italy in the six Nations? I have heard Argentina mentioned?

Apparently the wooden spoon has made in Italy on it!

I accept they are improving and gave Scotland a good game for 60 minutes but so they should after 20 years in the six Nations. There should be more incentive for countries like Romania and Georgia , perhaps a playoff between those sides.

By the way what a crap tackle , if you can call it that, by Ewels - head on head he had to go.

I don't like this referee ! Itoje wrongly penalized leads to an Irish try just before the interval

Italy were only invited into the competition to stop Scotland having the spoon every year. :P

Eddie Jones needs to get it into his head that wingers are not there as ornaments. If a comparison could be made between the yardage gained by the two Irish 11/14's and the English counterparts, I think they would be streets apart. And yes I know that Jack Nowell was acting as wing forward in set scrums but not at other times.

I refuse to support Wales due to internal politics but a class act from Josh Adams who having won MoM gave his medal to Capuozzo - the full back who created the fantastic winning try. Great sportsmanship there.

Well done France well deserved champions.
Wonder if the RFU will ever admit that Shaun Edwards should be in the coaching set up.

I think Wales were better than that , I can't remember the details but Wales probably should have beaten England and also France - both tight matches?

I think Scotland will be disappointed given their good start
