2022 Six Nations Rugby

Post by reheat module » Sun Jan 23, 2022 8:49 pm

Any Rugby Fans on FC?
It's a real highlight for me, 2 games at Twickers this time round against top Teams.
A free weekend for me on both counts, and a visit to W London is on the cards again.
Money can't buy you happiness? - it can buy a jet ski, I'm v happy on mine

Yep always look forward to the Six Nations, just wish Italy could become competitive. Brings back long ago memories of my first visit to the home of rugby to watch England v South Africa on 07/01/1961. We lost 0-5 to a try scored by Tommy Bedford plus conversion.

My bro in-law gets booze and prawn sandwich tickets from his company Barclays and occasionally passes one to me and I have to pretend I am a banker

Not long to go now...pub is ready and primed, kidneys and liver on high alert. It's going to be great to watch it again in the company of friends no matter what nation.

Bring on the banter.

I predict 3 home wins for the first weekend

Back to back 6 nations victories over England for the Scots, That’s my hope.

I’d rather Ireland didn’t win, but think we’ve got too many injuries.

Would love Italy to put one over the French but that really is far fetched.

Rugby the friendly game, off the pitch of course  2022 really gets into gear with the six nations. Hope England can get over the injury issues and very much looking forward to seeing Marcus Smith in the fly half shirt regularly.

In the spirt of rugby, wishing all the teams well, may the best team win.

Well said, could be a great series, all to play for, I think France may be the fly in the ointment, unless you are French that is :Wow:

Well there's the first and a bonus point as well for the Irish.

There's the second but I somehow doubt the Italians will triumph tomorrow in Paris...
