I just watched the sprint highlights free on C4 and thought it was excellent quality for free to air - I didn't know the results beforehand so the last couple of laps were very exciting. I like mad Max ( in my opinion Redbull were a breath of fresh air when they entered F1 fifteen or so years ago ) and think this could be the beginning of a golden era in F1 with some good young drivers in the mix. Previously with Merc dominance the season seemed so predictable it was like watching a Mercedes advertising campaign - no fault of Hamilton's of course.

I am out tomorrow so will try to follow the race on my personal favourite medium - Radio!

C'mon Max !

I used to support red bull up until they started winning. They turned into a team that thinks the sport owes them for being in it, toxic individuals like horner and wheatley especially. As for marko..

I've never liked mad max from day 1 in the sport. He was way too young to even be in it, proved exactly who he was through his attitude, race etiquette and refusal to follow team orders. And Kvyat's grossly unfair demotion leading to boy wonders red bull debut in 2016..

I know exactly what you mean, not a family history to be proud of :(
If you can keep your head whilst all around are losing theirs, you have probably completely misread the situation!!

What an incredibly boring race after slicks went on, DRS enabled far too late spoiled the race.

Sorry to disagree Slogan but Mad Max is one of the most dangerous drivers in F1 over the last few years and he definitely is the biggest baby over the radio ever!!

I agree about Max, I've always thought he is a huge accident waiting to happen, and the consequences could be horrendous..

How does this work Seven?

C24, no idea what your on about, your grasp of the English language and forum conduct is certainly a unique package.

And as my opinion is so desperately wanted:
Good job by mad max all weekend, though the pole lap on Friday should never have been allowed, in the rules or not.
Perez did the job in the end, but a bit of a faff getting there.
Ferrari don't seem to have been on the ball all weekend. And errors but both drivers only compounded this. Not good enough.
McLaren, great result with Norris, great if boring drive from him. But Ricciardo should have got a penalty for that. Consistency is only apparent by its absence there.
Mercedes, embarrassing. Good drive by Russell to bring back some good points, but the car is ridiculous at speed.
Good drives by Bottas and Albon also. The rest of the field seemed pretty lost through lack of pace and the ridiculous choice of track. The only train at any race should be the one to get you there. It says something when bad weather actually makes a race more dull.
Highlights only for anyone who hasn't already watched it.

I know exactly where you got it from, I was trying to establish exactly what you meant by it, as it would have been grossly unfair of me to have posted my initial reaction without taking a second thought.

TBF, the majority of RIAT moaners are mostly unjustified, as DBH does go for and deliver items for the fans. Their expectations are too unrealistic in multiple ways.
F1 however goes for the $$$, whilst pretending its doing it for the fans. Why chose Imola when Portimao, Mugello or even Sepang(which all teams had to fly over to get back to Europe from Oz), would be much better for RACING. Which F1 sells itself as the pinnacle of.
Remember, it also works if you don't like what's being written, you don't have to read it ;)

I will add, I got up at 4 to watch the Aussie GP, having only being able to get to bed at 2, to sit through the the entire race and see mad max cop out with a few laps to go. And that is why it's worth watching for me.
Hi Mike
This one, above." Remember... ;) ".
It's the style of English that threw me :D

Do not worry about making your own mistakes - if you take other people's advice you will end up making their mistakes instead :)

Well done max - looking forward to the highlights!

So what if he whinges all the drivers whinge if they don't get their own way. In my experience every human being with a penis becomes a baby when behind the wheel - you only need to see their reaction when you accidentally cut them up!
