Couldn't stand the guy back in his Red Bull days but he's grown on me, much like Schuey did when he returned. Sad to see him muddling around at the back now, he speaks out for some good causes and is quite funny too. It's the right time for him to go. 7th in FP2 today and a potentially wet qualy could line him up for a decent haul this weekend, I'd like to see him back on the podium before he goes.
I think you probably speak for a lot of us who have the same feelings for the guy, hope he has a good end to the season :thumb:

As I expected, a very good showing for Mercedes, but I didn't think that they would to be ahead of the Ferraris!!.

This could be interesting. We might see Max at his best, as he improves his position, or we might see him at his worst as he barges people out of the way!!.

Sadly I fear the latter, he's not a happy bunny 😖

Great job by Russell indeed. Shame Hamiltons DRS failed so he couldn't qualify where the car should have been. Also couldn't help but think the result would have been very different had it been the usual Hungarian summer weather.
Looks like red bull have to hope for Firearri to return to usual form in order to get some points in the bag.
For once I hope for a boring race with the top 4 staying where they qualified.

Edit, tell a lie, Sainz and Leclerc to swap positions.

I will be honest I don't like Russell, I don't know why because he is clearly very fast but seems a bit on the arrogant side. He is quite hard on Williams but he didn't have to sign for them, we all have to make our own decisions in life.

I have always liked Vettel and sorry to see him struggle in the Aston Martin but he will be able to look back with pride at his achievements in the sport. I thought Hamilton's and Alonso's words for Seb were very nice. Hamilton = Top Man and a great Englishman.

I don't recall any sign of him being hard on Williams, at least in public. He was always very much a team player from what I could see. Think Hungary last year for example..

Russell is the least arrogant person i can think of. Guess you didn't watch his championship winning years in GP3 and F2 ? Proper team player and is just as gracious in defeat as he is when winning. Compare that to Seb screaming obscenities down the radio when things don't go his way. Odd perspective. What are your views on Putin ? 🤣

Tbf, both Vettel and Hamilton these days have matured into the 'here we go again' mentality that age and experience brings you. The majority of the young drivers are still in the throw the toys out of the pram stage.
As for arrogance, Alonso takes the crown. Whilst he seems to have accepted that he's never going to be given a top seat again, it's clear he thinks he's better than the teams he's been with recently. (Although tbf he is, but wanna try starting your own team then fam???)

Great grid today, Hungary can throw up some great results but I think this will be a Ferrari 1 2 with Max possibly 3. Lewis will struggle to get past those Alpines. Praying for rain.

In theory it's Firearris to lose, but it won't come easy. Personally I hope it stays dry, and Hamilton makes it past the traffic ahead. Fingers crossed the new cars make the difference.

No idea, but for years, no matter their principal, always throw it away. They've genuinely taking away a good title fight this year.

Good drive by Max. Excellent from Lewis. What a pity there weren't two more laps with a bit more rain!!. I suspect that there will be a vacancy for a Ferrari Team Manager at the end of the season, which is a fairly commonplace occurrence!.
