I prefer underwater motorcycling - unfortunately it is only shown on the radio!
During my earlier career I became fascinated watching submarine racing, very calming, breathtaking as they approached the finishing line.

As a non follower of both cricket and soccer, I experienced some confusion when this thread came onto the forum. How did the organisers hope to combine the two?. Limited appeal

My respect goes to the Man U Captain Harry Maguire for not taking the knee in Rome. :thumb:

Probably because taking the Knee as with clapping the NHS has passed its sell by date you only have to listen to the boos from the crowds to see that a lot of people are fed up with it
it no longer has the meaning or impact it had to start with

As a non fan, I found soooooo much missing from this game. Cynical fouls... grown men rolling about in pseudo agony, ....confrontations with the opposition,... arguing with the referee..etc. I thought it was the best match I had seen for many a year [haven't watched many tbh] but thoroughly enjoyed it. Played in a great friendly spirit too. Could have more like that. It changed a bit in extra time, but great overall. :)

The skill level between those two fine teams was through the roof.

That last winning penalty by Jorginho was a stunner, so cool and unexpected , it caused me to spontaneously shout " Fxxx my old brown boots" - great thing about live sports is that nobody knows what will happen next.

The match is on ITV, England don't have a chance. The ITV jinx will happen again  On a serious note I'm quietly confident about the game despite being on ITV

I thought Denmark looked really dangerous on the ball

The result could have gone either way but tonight it was England's turn to reach a final .

Gareth please don't substitute Saka again!

I want to know what "IT" is that is supposed to be coming home ?
good result eventually but hard work to get there

typical England performance all attack for 15/20 mins then take foot off the gas to allow the opposition back into the game resulting in probably the best goal of the tournament thus far

thankfully this forced the team back onto the offensive resulting in the eventual win, the last 10 mins though were a little nervy as every time Denmark had the ball they looked like they could get something out of it

Well done to Denmark for such a spirited performance throughout considering what a awful start they had
