Trouble with Touring Cars is that the driving is very unsophisticated at times. Too much pushing and shoving, tapping your opponent into a spin, using the grass on the inside of the corner etc., Enjoyable nevertheless, but I don't take it too seriously.

Great stuff!. Looking forward to tomorrow!!. I think it is going to be his race. His tyre management is the best, and he is very intelligent regarding tactics.

Well that was a enjoyable qualifying, congrats to Sir Lewis ,smashing it again ,very impressive I for one never thought Michael’s records would be matched or beaten for a long while it all seemed unbeatable, but they say records are there to be broken and new ones made ,Lewis is well on the way to being the new benchmark for upcoming drivers in F3 F2 etc ,although as a life long Ferrari fan I must admit a big improvement on last season but just a tad disappointing as Charles looked good yesterday running P3 for a while but looks like P4 good result tomorrow.as ever we shall see
Also good to see Seb (got through to Q3 last weekend)getting to grips with the Aston and Stroll coming on well now to

Better than it could have been, but about as exciting as watching an ocean dry up, as predicted. Don't see the issue with Portugal, less so now.

Excellent tactics. When people complained to Sir Frank Williams about his team making things boring by always winning, I am minded even now of his reply. 'It is not up to us to go slower, but for the other teams to go faster!'
How true!!. Well done SLH and the team.

People forget about Ferrari's dominance. Teams have periods of domination and collapse. Liverpool, Manchester United etc etc. This is no different!

Great video Max...Just goes to show what money can do in F1 for a team in desperate need.

It does if it weren’t for the likes of Hass and Aston Martin/Racing Point /Force India it would be a very limited field on the other hand ,just could have picked a more suitable driver in my honest opinion...they could have looked into the American market load of good drivers that could have got the seat from IndyCar for instance. ,the likes of Williams ,McLaren and Ferrari are different as I view these as heritage teams and will unlikely never be short on a funding and b talented descent drivers and c never leave F1 ...although given Williams recent situation they had to make a quick funding alternative and almost re start the team from a new perspective.but seems they back on track now

At the moment, between races, the most exciting thought is whether or not Mazespin gets through first practice at Monaco without altering the shape of the barriers!!!.

 Right!. Paul Hawkins was the last diver . :)Into the harbour, not the swimming pool. Survived that, lost his life at Oulton Park.

Turkey off, for now apparently, a second race in Austria added (the week before the first), and the French GP moved forward a week giving a triple header. Predictable really, but got to give credit where its due to the relevant authorities for moving and adding date to accommodate the sport.

Nice to see Romain Grosjean finishing 2nd in the Indycar race last night. Should restore his confidence somewhat!. Monaco at the end of this week. Remember practice starts Thursday this time.

A fairly atypical performance from Romain - no accidents or spins.

He is back on form though as he would have won had it not been for back markers, wind, tyres and the traffic according to his interview.

Monaco practice always starts on Thursday. Excellent drive by Romain good to see racing and not a procession with an almost guaranteed outcome. Will he or won't he go for Indy 500

Slogen. Everyone could have won had it not been for tyres, wind, backmarkers, etc.etc. [please insert all driver excuses] . Not taking anything away from him tho'. It was a good performance. I don't think he will do Indy. Too specialised I reckon. Think he will do a Max Chilton and stick to road courses. He has a great attitude to life since his near-death experience. It does change you.... I know.Been there.

I used to love F1. I've never loved Monaco though. In my view its really a procession and a PR event, not a race and shouldn't count for points.

Went once in the Jackie Stewart days. Grandstands weren't staggered properly. paid a fortune, saw cars for about 40yards through Tabac and that was it.!!.Wouldn't go again. However, it HAS been the scene of some exciting races, and can be unpredictable, particularly if weather intervenes. Looking forward to next Sunday!. :thumb:
