Sabine Schmitz RIP

German racing legend Sabine Schmitz has tragically passed away aged 51 after a long battle with cancer.

Schmitz, the Queen of the Nurburgring, was a familiar face on British television due to her spell on the BBC's Top Gear over the years, first appearing on the show back in 2004.
Last year she revealed she had been secretly battling cancer since 2017.

Didn't she also driver a van around nurburgring faster than Clarkson in a Jaaaag and a few Porsche drivers

Ford transit van , mind you it had all but the drivers seat taken out , the doors and windows taped up and all other removable items like spare wheel removed .
All done in an attempt to lap the Nurburgring in less than ten minutes ..
