Apparently I have a cordless black and decker waiting for me in Surrey but it could be a wind up.

The most useful thing so far are some cheap plastic slip-on clogs so I can go I to the garden or empty the bins without having to put on shoes

Nothing. I have my wife, and she has me. Don't need anything else. :)

You old romantic 😊

I had a Hunter model and a few aviation related books and a Top Gun T-Shirt.. An officer not a gentleman is a great read ,its about the life of a female Tornado pilot in the RAF, I can't put it down 😊

A wind up, aka clockwork, Black and Decker sounds a great idea - environmentally friendly too!

Treated myself a few weeks ago to a Sigma 150-600 Contemporary to go on my 6D. Not had chance to use it on any aircaft yet but took it out on my forest walks and very pleased so far. Even managed to see a Jay today and got a reasonable shot. Much sharper than my old 150-500. At least I can get used to it at home ready for when I get to an airfield.

Haven't seen Jays in the garden in a while. Always used to get a regular, had 3 enjoying their breakfast before. Beautiful bird.

My eldest son bought me 'Air Tattoo 50 - The story of the world's greatest Airshow' book.

It is simply stunning, what a great publication it is. :thumb:

I got Lego too, the 1st time for 50 years.
